Chemo #28 -- October 27, 2008

Heading out to go trick-or-treating at Daddy's work Halloween party--Oct. 25. Makenna's an evil fortune teller. Bridger's a devil. Sawyer's a green Power Ranger and Hunter's a vampire.
We were pleasantly surprised that the clinic was having a Halloween party on the day of Sawyer's visit. He was excited to have his face painted. He asked for a pumpkin with a blue, scary face.

Chemo #28 -- October 27, 2008

Playing with a few of my guys.
I love standing my guys up. Mommy wanted to take a picture of me with my guys. I kept standing right in front of them. Mommy then asked me to kneel in front. I didn't quite catch on until she told me to kneel like we do when we pray. I ended up sitting down but still folded my arms as if I had been praying.

Popcorn and a movie. Who could ask for anything more?

I found the art table and had a blast painting.

The lady at the art table made me wear a mask even though the doctor wasn't too concerned about my lingering cough.

October 2008

Dry ice fun! Mommy got a really good deal on some Omaha Steak beef patties--$3.98 for 18 --that's including s/h. They arrived in the mail on Saturday, October 25. Daddy helped us have a great time with the leftover shipping dry ice. Perfect for Halloween!
Lining up my Scooby Do cars. Thanks, Angel Michelle!

Pointing at my baw-baw (my port.) You can see how the nasty scar from my old port site is healing. I've had my new port almost 10 months now.
Modeling the new PJ bottoms my almost 12 year old cousin Megan made for me. She's so talented! Whenever I wear these, I exclaim, "Megan made these just for me!" Thanks, Megan!

Power Rangers!! Can you guess which one is me? Hunter and I were so excited to see these costumes in a package our Aunt Tamma sent us!

Chemo # 27 -- October 6, 2008

Sawyer wasn't too excited about wearing this mask but he had to because of his nasty sounding cough.
Our cute boy!
Have I grown any?
Such a big boy...usually Sawyer sits on my lap for all of his vitals. This time he wanted to do it all by himself. He's growing up too fast. When the nurse put the pulse oximeter on his finger, he told the her he was a Transformer.
Snack time!

Chemo # 27 Continued-- October 6, 2008

Having fun with my new Thomas travel set.
Notice the Power Ranger watching from the roof.
Trying out my new Power Ranger toothbrush. Thanks, Angel Michelle! Now brushing teeth time will be much more exciting.

We finally got out our Halloween decorations this weekend. The kids were thrilled. They loved decorating the house and enjoyed picking out their costumes. Hunter was so excited to see this Dracula costume and added a flying bat. (He's holding the bat.)

September 2008

Playing with the travel train set Mommy found on clearance. It'll be perfect for the clinic. Sawyer always screams when he has to leave the train table in the waiting area.
The Johnston 4 enjoying their Peruvian souvenirs.
Soccer Sawyer--Sawyer insists that he's part of the team during Hunter's soccer camp. The first day of the camp, there were not enough soccer balls to go around so Sawyer used a basketball. Now he brings his own little soccer ball to use. I'll have say he's actually a better listener than most of the 3-5 year olds.
Sawyer even participates during warm-up time.
