May 24, 2008

Today Bridger went on his $50 shopping spree at the grocery store. Remember he won that Mother's Day contest. The $50 was for me but I thought it'd be more fun if he got to do the shopping. He made a grocery list before we headed out and we brought a calculator along. He had so much fun. He was able to get quite a bit and had 60 cents to spare. (I only requested one item--a pound of chicken that was on sale.) These next three pictures should have come after the next post but I did things backwards this time. Oops! These pictures were taken at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. We headed there today. The kids always love the pull-up section. Bridger did three in a row without any trouble. Makenna did one. She was too quick, though, so I didn't get a picture of her.
Hunter just wanted to hang.
Of course, Sawyer had to give it a try. He was too cute!

May 2008

Ready for church-May 18, 2008. As we were heading to church, Mommy was heading to the airport for her "Calgon" trip with Tamma.
Today (May 24) we headed to the National Museum of the Marine Corps. We've been a few times but decided to go there today because they were having special children's activities. Don't I look sharp with my cover?

Treatment # 20 -- May 12, 2008

Snack break...
Hunter took this picture for us.
Hunter wanted to check out my accessed port.
Getting ready for my exam with Dr. Lawlor.
Cute brothers waiting and waiting and waiting.

Treatment # 20 Continued -- May 12, 2008

Checking out my toobie.
Hunter wanted to take a look.

Pretending to be monster. I did lots of different tricks in the hallway to pass the time...bending over and peeking through my legs (Hunter really liked it when we both did this and looked at each other), hopping around like a frog, doing the splits, etc.

Sawyer's 2nd Birthday--May 8, 2008

Sawyer's birthday was on Thursday, May 8th but we ended up celebrating it on Saturday, May 10th. Sawyer was so excited to open up all his gifts.
Showing off some of his new toys...this pirate ship will match Sawyer's new pirate bedroom.
More pirate things...
Posing for his two year old bear picture!
Ready to blow out the candles...Sawyer knew the routine. (He had practice during Hunter's birthday 2 1/2 weeks ago. ) He waited patiently till everyone sang "Happy Birthday," and then he blew out the candles one by one.
