Sawyer's Port Removal Surgery-- June 8, 2009

Mr. Sawyer's wide awake at 5:45 a.m.--reading a magazine in the
surgical waiting area.
Thankfully, they had a children's waiting area.

Sawyer is one unhappy camper-he did not want his
gown on. He refused to look at Terry for this picture. Sad thing...
as I was holding him on my lap, a single tear ran down his face.

All smiles in the pediatric surgical waiting room.

Surgery Cont.

Hanging out in the surgical waiting room.
Sawyer enjoyed playing with all the toys.

Look at all the trucks!

Port free! Just waking up--"Home" was the magic word.

Sawyer was not a happy camper and he did not want his
picture taken. He looked away from me everytime.

Heading out.
Sawyer enjoying his 2nd red popsicle.

Playing in the bean bags at Bridger's 2nd grade awards' ceremony--June 9, 2009.

Hunter was so excited to see one of his T-ball friends at the awards' assembly.
He was quick to show this friend the clock and money books he's been
working on. Hunter is a homework maniac!

MRI -- June 5, 2009

Having fun in the waiting room.

Sawyer liked this light.

MRI is over...we're now waiting for our copies of the MRI for our
records and Dr. Arceci's.

VA Renaissance Faire -- June 6, 2009

On Saturday we attended the VA Renaissance Faire. We all had a great time.
Sawyer and Terry taking a break from all the activities.
Hunter had fun stamping his own leather bookmark.

Makenna and her friends enjoyed making rag dolls.

L-R: Makenna, Catherine, Olivia and Bridger with their
rag dolls.

VA Renaissance Faire -- June 6, 2009

Sawyer had fun making his own paper.

Sawyer was excited to try on some armor until
it was actually placed on him.

Bridger and Hunter both became knights...after the ceremony, they
had a chance to meet and greet the queen.

Johnston Boys-- June 3rd, 2009

The Johnston boys enjoying lunch at Bridger's "End of Loop" picnic.
(May 27, 2009)
Hunter and his game ball--Hunter has an amazing T-ball coach--after every
game he gives out a game ball to a child who has shown improvement or
has done exceptionally well during that game. Hunter received a game ball
a couple of weeks ago and was
thrilled to pieces!

Hunter showing off his new shirt and tie. Hunter loves dressing up for church
and for special occasions. Last weekend Terry was getting some new suits
and Hunter asked for a new suit. Well, we couldn't find one his size (for the right price) so he
asked if he could at least get a new shirt and tie. (May 31, 2009)

This is what happens when you have older brothers who like
to play dress up. Bridger and Sawyer were playing "Egypt" and Bridger
decided to make Sawyer the Pharaoh. Sawyer was thrilled.
