August Pictures -- 2010
Two ninjas ready for battle.
Hunter & Sawyer
On the 1st day of school our cookie making activity ended up being a great preschool
learning activity. First of all, Sawyer had to sound out and spell (with a little bit of help from mom) everyone's names in our family. Then he counted how many A's, B's, C's, etc. were used. He learned how to do tally marks to document this.

Great Preschool Lesson continued
Once Sawyer had the letter counts, he was ready to roll
out the dough and start cutting out letters.
Britton & Sawyer are
wearing Makenna and Bridger's old aprons from when
there were little. Sawyer was a little too big.
Great Preschool Lesson & After School Snack
After the messages were on the table, we decided to graph the letters used.
It was fun to see which letters were used the most. I loved seeing Sawyer make
connections on his own--"Look, Mom. The A's and D's match -they both have three."

After months of looking, finally found a double jogger that Sawyer fits comfortably in. Since I can't take him to the gym, I needed another exercise option.
visit this weekend. They have five girls-basically, the same ages as our
five kids! We all had a great time and were sad to see them leave.
